This is a new one I just heard about. How often do we make noodles and let the water boil and boil, raising our electricity bill often times in two way, by having to cool the house down after heating it up and heating the water.
This is a great trick: Bring your water to a boil, with the pot covered, add noodles then bring back to a boil and then turn off the heat. As long as you leave it covered it will continue to cook the noodles. This work because of waters amazing ability to hold heat, if you did this twice a month you could save a few dollars on the electric bills!
The best part about this is there is no more work to save some dough!
